Off the Hook Restaurant Group began in 2010 when Indian River Seafood Company opened its doors at Off the Hook, Bethany bringing farm to table cuisine to our small beach town in Delaware. A year later, Just Hooked opened in Fenwick Island, Delaware followed by the opening of our first Maryland location, Hooked, in Ocean City. And just when you thought we were running out of ‘Hook’ names, we did it again — launching our first sports bar, Hooked Up Ale House & Raw Bar in Millville, Delaware, our fourth restaurant in just five years. With the popularity of the restaurants Taste Events was formed. Taste Events is the catering division of the Off the Hook Restaurant Group and offers full service catering to allow guests to enjoy our award-winning cuisine, not only at onsite events, but offsite events such as weddings, showers, and corporate events.
Continuing our growth, in 2018 owners Steve Hagen & Kevin Frey embarked on a new venture, our first waterfront restaurant, Tailchasers Restaurant and Dock Bar. Tailchasers is nestled on the canal on 122nd street in Ocean City, MD offering gorgeous sunsets over the water, family-friendly dining, and the fresh, honest, local food and service Off the Hook Group is known for.
Off the Hook Restaurant Groups’ Restaurants & Catering Services are locally run serving the needs of each local community while also being hot spots for seasonal crowds. The natural atmosphere of the coast continually inspires 2018 Best Chef in the Coastal Style magazine, Christian Costantino to create culinary masterpieces centered on freshness, creativity, and comfort.
